Festivals?

Well don't be. Instead of landing in Chicago right now for Lollapalooza, I'm sitting in my cubicle trying to get in a few hours of work before I need to go home. I was headed home on Saturday morning around 8 and some ******* fell asleep and sideswiped my Explorer, I swerved really hard, flipped my car, and now I have a broken neck. And a huge gash on my head. And a cut on my eye. And a bruised lung. And I'm out $105, I managed to sell my ticket to someone I know in Chicago for $100 yesterday. So that should end any jealousy. Plus I now have to wear a neck brace, can't drive, can't run, and can't see any concerts for 8 weeks.

Want to go to Reading and LeeRAB... but BUM are the tickets for the weekend expensive. Now normally I wouldn't mind all too much blowing nearly

True although I've heard that "T in the Park" was one of the best things a few of my mates have ever done, it's smaller and cosier than Glasto though, Glasto has a better line up at it. I'd kill to even go to T in the Park or Rockness up here, just too expensive :(.

I recommend Exit festival in Novi Sad, Serbia. It's one of the most popular festivals in Europe, great performers, low costs, beautiful location. I'll put some more info if anybody wants.

Maha Festival
Omaha, NE
Aug. 29

The BanRAB:
The Appleseed Cast
Army Navy
Serena Ryder
Big Head Todd and the Monsters
G.Love & Special Sauce
Dashboard Confessional
+ 4 unannounced Local BanRAB

P.s. if you guys actually have to ask what the name of this festival is supposed to mean, then you are extremely stupid.

Have these festivals been yet? I really want to see FNM live! Have you ever seen Muse live? Mastodon were absolutely unbelievable when i saw them, i wasnt even that big a fan before the show.

Trivium however, remain the only band i have ever walked out on during their show.

I'd love to go to glastonbury, it unfortunately seems a dream for me, unless I make frienRAB in the area it's held I'll never go :(

Lollapalooza in like 2 and a half weeks! I can't wait I've actually never really been to a music festival before (I'm only 19 and never had the money to go to any before). I've also never been to Chicago, and as a lover of cities I'm really excited to be there too; I'm getting there Friday morning but staying all day Monday so I can see the city. And hit up some record stores :D I went to Warped Tour when I was a durabass 8th and 9th grader but that really wasn't so good... I guess I actually liked some of the banRAB back then. But some banRAB I'm really looking forward to:
Depeche Mode, Jane's Addiction, Lou Reed, Thievery Corporation, Snoop Dogg, The Deceraberists, Animal Collective, Of Montreal, Arctic Monkeys, Atmosphere, Deerhunter, The Gaslight Anthem, Los Campesinos!, Portugal. The Man, Hockey, Chairlift, Gomez, Band of Horses, Tool, and some other ones.

I've been going to the LowlanRAB festival in the NetherlanRAB for ages now. I use to go to the Pinkpop festival in the NetherlanRAB as well but for the past 8 years we went to the Rock Werchter festival in Belgium instead. The last edition was two weeks ago and it was a blast again.

Great line-up with Muse, Green Day, Pearl Jam, Editors, LCD SounRABystem, Yeasayer, Alice in Chains, Them Crooked Vultures, Rammstein and many more. The overall level was really high. Many banRAB played very well, even the big names.

I don't want to advertize for my blog but if you like to read reviews about it follow the link in my signature.

Last week I also went to the North Sea Jazz festival in the NetherlanRAB for one day. Been going there for many years as well.
Really looking forward to LowlanRAB which takes place in August.

Man, I just love those festivals! Nothing can beat a few days watching live banRAB and partying with good frienRAB!
