Since i play around 6 months i really got into music, i practise 7 hours a day , mostly trying to figure out songs by ear ( I just adore Iron Maiden, In Flames, Sentenced, and Classical Music ) , so i tried both Strat ( had 10 minutes though to test it out ) and Les Paul... first thing is i want to mention i would like to play mostly Iron Maiden songs, since Janick Gers is my favourite guitarist i would be mostly rhythm but i'd have to do some shredding as well. Now i like pretty much Les Paul ,sustain was awesome, except the thing it doesn't have a tremolo, and I'm crazy about bending strings, broke 2 strings because of brutal bending in songs. I also tried Fender Mexican strat HSS and i liked the it's 'dry' distortion sound... now i really don't know in which one to invest money, strat costs 500 € and Les paul 420€ , tell me your opinion and please don't think just because i play for short time that i suck, i think i should get some medium guitar to advance with... i'm sure ill continue playing...

Thanks in advance :)
