I am a black female and I am enlisting into the Navy with a very large afro.
I've been informed that they will being cutting hair even if you are a female (with no considerations).
I am more than willing to cut my hair but after they cut it my hair doesn't just lay down no matter how short you cut it and if it is cut too short I won't be able to put it in a bun (or up and out of the way)
Will they just take it all off? or can I go in with in a bun and they'll leave it alone?
what would you suggest?
any insight would help.
