Female character, male voice actor?

Similarly, Harry Shearer handled her one line in "Treehouse of Horror IX" ("Very well, I'll drive!"). And if you want to get technical, Matt Groening himself provided those original synthesized pacifier sucks.

In the Czech dub of "The Simpsons", Marge is voiced by a man. I don't know what those Czech dubbers were thinking. This dub is on a few of the season sets as a special language feature.

EDIT: Wrong emoticon.

In the later sagas of Funimation's dub of Dragon Ball Z, Fortune-teller Baba is voiced by a man (Chris Sabat maybe?) except for one episode where she's voiced by Linda Young. Young also voices Baba in all of Dragon Ball.
However, I read somewhere that supposedly Baba was redubbed with Young for the Season sets of DBZ.

Granny on Squidbillies is voiced hilariously by Dana Snyder.

One of Pixar's animators, Bob Peterson, was the voice of Roz in Monsters, Inc.

He may also be the only male actor who has won an Annie Award as the voice of a female character.

Charlie Adler was also nominated for an Annie as the voice of Cow (a female character) on Cow & Chicken. Charlie's also used his Granny voice in several cartoons: Rocko's Modern Life, Eek The Cat, Timon & Pumbaa, Tiny Toon Adventures, Tom & Jerry: The Fast & The Furry-ous, etc.
