In my art class last semester, we were shown a few pieces by a female artist (whom I believe is located somewhere in CA, most likely Los Angeles) who tends to paint only "large people," in a very distinctive way.
Her style tends not to focus too much on faces etc. but portrays people in a way that makes them seem to be pressed up against glass. It looks as if one is gazing through a window at them, while their arms/legs/etc. are squished up against the window.
I've searched like crazy and still can't seem to find her. She may be a street artist, not 100% sure either way.
Anyway, I'm trying to find her artwork and name at least, so that I can write about her for an assignment in my writing class.
Please and thank you!
