Felicity and Ben #4: Their relationship even persevered through time-travel.

yeah exactly. at the end of the day i dont think noel needed felicity. i think he was such a strong character anyways, and if anything it seemed like felicity even brought him down at times.

but ben and felicity were truly at their best when they were together. and they just functioned so well together. their personalities just meshed.
 
Ahh that's good to know! I mean, I assume it would be mostly great because Felicity is just a well-written show, but I'm just a little sick of love-triangles is all. At least with this one, I know my preferred side of the shape enRAB up together! ;)

I loved the B&W credits sequence. I wish they hadn't taken the last shot out of the season 2 credits through.

It's not as bad as you think. S2 is almost entirely about them. S3 you get to really see them together, but their are external complications. Yeah they have ish to deal with, but its always been clear that they belong together.
 
Yeah, that really sorta defines my preference when it came to Noel and Ben. I loved them both, but I rooted so hard for Ben to figure himself out and sort through his issues. He was so complex. And with Felicity constantly pushing Ben and challenging him, I found that far more interesting to watch. She was this put together girl and he just had no idea who he was or what he wanted to do. The only thing he was sure of was that Felicity inspired and motivated him more than anyone else he'd ever met. And that was ultimately the thing pushing him to be the best version of himself. Because she believed in him.
 
Saw The Vow last night - Scott is still as beautiful as ever :sigh: It made me want to go rewatch Felicity so badly. I miss this show so much - it's so good.
 
I used to lurk on FF back when the show was on air and it was split down the middle (noel lovers, ben lovers)

But, I remeraber going to this lj community and I was thrown by the ben hate, but that's mostly cause I loved him so much. One of the things I miss about our old Felicity board is the wonderful discussion.
 
I didn't even know what shipping was either. I just loved them from the pilot.
It took awhile but they finally got together. I remeraber the season 1 finale and being so pissed that we didn't get to find out who she picked. Though I had a strong feeling she would pick Ben.
