Felicity and Ben #4: Their relationship even persevered through time-travel.

I think it's easy to hate Ben if you judged him solely by what he does rather than WHY he's doing it. He wasn't a character you could take at face value because there was always an underlying reason for his behavior/decisions. And more often than not, the truth would always reveal that he has a good heart. He was very complex and if you didn't like that kind of thing, you'd write him off as a douche. People like characters they can put in a labeled box.

Felicity was the only one that could get through to him on a level that most girls wouldn't have even bothered to try. She understood his background and his family situation and why he would rather push people away than to let them get close to him. She knows that he's a great guy and if only he'd believe it too, he could do and be anything. Felicity just never gave up on him. And I believe that's one of the main reasons Ben loved her so much.

I loooove Felicity. I was a lil young when it aired but I watched bits and pieces. Always loved FAB.

I got all the dvRAB a couple of years ago and it just made me love it even more

Thats a hard one, I'd have to say Season 3 cause despite it all they persevered through it all. We saw them fluffy, angsty but they didn't breakup! That was the key they weathered the storm together.

coconut5 great post  I especially love this part:

I'm also a fan of guilty pleasure trashy teen dramas, but Felicity is above and beyond such shows. It treats its viewers as people possessing native human intelligence.
Oh and this:

She's among my favourite characters.

Guys Guys Guys,

I just found this show. Just now. Yes I watched the WB shows when I was a teen, Buffy, Angel, Roswell, Charmed, Smallville but I just put Felicity in the stupid soap opera catagory. But this past month I've been marathoning it.

You know what sucks though? There are no reruns in this country so I can't see them with the original music. I have to imagine how sexy the roof scene in The List was with Crash by Dave Matthews.

I wish there were links to FAB threaRAB from the time. I want to see what you were all thinking as it was airing.

Felicity is my favourite TV show of all time, and I love Ben and Felicity.

The whole series in general was great though, particularly season 1, which is perfection in my mind. I loved the whole Julie getting with Ben thing and how hurt Felicity was and psychotic in the first episode, and then in the final episode of that season when Julie says to her, 'You're just a lying bitch'. Amazing drama!

I love the 'Crash' episode because I played that game and could not finish it either!

I loved Noel and his beats allergy.

Also, snarky Megan in season 1 was amazing.

What I think is so amazing about the show is the way that JJ Abrams and Matt Reeves created a female character that is so different from all the other female leaRAB we see on TV. She wears frumpy jumpers, she's not particular glamourous or confident or funny or sexy, she doesn't go wild and take drugs and develop a drinking problem, or sleep with half the college dorm. She's just such a real character without being boring or annoying. It was so well done. As much as I enjoy shows like 'Gossip Girl', Felicity would not last two seconRAB on that show. But that's what I love about her. The way they portrayed a lot of the characters was as realistic as TV shows get.

And Noel and Ben were brilliant leading men as well. I also loved Javier and his 'crunch' on Noel.

I agree. I didn't mind FN, my heart was just with FB. Also, the only time I had issues with noel was in late S3 when he was being kinda wacky.

Thanks bb! Yeah I'd say it's pretty much the antithesis of GG these days. And that's probably why I'm enjoying it so much!

Thanks, yours too! :thud: Ezria + rain = OT3 tbh.
