my fish died today.
i have 8 fish, and have had many pets in my life, but for some reason, i am feeling SO emotional about my fish passing away.
he was acting a bit funny the past few days, so perhaps it is a sense of guilt that i didnt do anything. but i feel so sad. i dont feel like doing anything.
i am a teenager, so if this has anthing to do with it...... but i still cant understand the LEVEL of destress i am causing myself over my fish's death. i was so distressed i was crying for over 2 hours.
i am usually a very positive person, with a very active social life, good health, very stable family life, financial security, ect. so i cant imaine this would be an unrelated issue.
it may have been the fact that he was "missing" for about an hour. i woke up and was fretting as i only had 7 fish. he was NOWHERE. eventually, my mum found him in a plastic sea urchin in the tank.
i dont know why i am feeling this way.
any sugestions? what can i do to make myself feel happy again?
