I went to my doctor last week about palpatations iv been having. They done an ekg (heart tracing) the nurse said my heart beat was fast but everything seems to be ok. My blood work was normal aswell. The doctor was talking about getting me a holter monitor for 24 hours to record my heart further. She hasnt done this yet. The past 2 days now iv been having a feeling like my heart is skipping a beat. Should i phone up my doctor and ask her if i can get this holter monitor asap as this is all worrying me and feel like it should be seen to right away? What would happen? Should i go to hospital instead?
