Feel good horror movies?

The Orphanage is depressing too. Not gory, but you will feel, hopefully, very sad after it. So not a film if you want, 'feel good' horror. It's more than ok! it's one of the best horror films to come out in a long time. Recommend you see this, amazing.

The only Funny Games you have to see is the original, doesn't matter at all if you miss the remake. But as already said, not a feel good one.

I agree with Dead Snow, and Drag Me To Hell. It's rather rubbish, but try Dance of the Dead.

Just a few suggestions from the top of my head :

Tremors
Bad Taste/Brain Dead/The Frighteners (All Peter Jackson)
House
Monster Squad
Dog Soldiers
Evil Dead 2

Always found these to be more on the fun side of horror, if that's what you were after.

I would suggest The Ruins ( watched it on saturday ), its about
these people get on The Ruins and the Mexicans are down the bottom not letting them go, (Incase they catch what they got), and thats these sticky plants get inside their bodies and start moving around..They then have to cut them selves to get the sticky plant out..Lots of cutting and blood :D..In the end the one lad distracts the Mexicans , so that the girl can escape in his jeep, he gets shot dead..:( Ended with some more tourists going up the Ruins, like another film gonna be done..lol
..and i suggest dont bother cos its rubbish !!:D

Dance of the Dead is great. It's got one of my favourite dumb movie quotes of all time in as well.

"little lady you'll get the machete"

"but I don't know how to shoot a machete"

:D

Cheers guys, excluding Undead and the ones unknown17 suggested I've seen/own the rest, great suggestions none the less and spot on the mark with the type of thing I'm looking for :)

I've been watching the Leprechaun movies to keep me busy, i'm quite fond of them but bloody hell some of them are bad, not troll 2 level bad but bad none the less.

Hard Rock Zombies. The best feel good horror film ever.

A band gets killed and comes back to life to do an audition and a final gig. It even has the nazi's in it and a man who slowly eats himself throughout the film.

The soundtrack is brilliant. Get it now.

You could also try Amusement, Dead Silence, Feast, Dead & Breakfast, Santa's Slay, Slither, Dog House, Zombieland. I really recommend Dead Silence if you haven't seen it, Black Sheep is good too!
