Party go outside to see commotion, small glimpses of monster. Huge explosions, crashes, noise, hysteria.
Army starts to evacuate Manhattan, several members of the party break off as one wants to go find a girl who texted him.
Army fight the monster through the city, failing to kill it.
Small monsters/parasites which come off the main monster attack them in subway.
They get saved by finding med/evac centre, one's been bitten and dies.
They ask Army to let them out of the backdoor as they need to go save friend, they go, save friend, escape.
Chopper evacuation, chopper crashes, they survive. Pick themselves up, monster is stood right by them, fairly decent glimpse of monster. Monster kills videographer.
The loving couple hide under a bridge whilst the military nuke Manhattan.
