Hi,
I'm 15 years old and I really want to improve my photography, I was wondering if anyone here could offer me some critique of my photos?
Thanks,
Louise xx

Here's a few of them: http://www.flickr.com/photos/37297763@N05/

Not bad at all. Your architectural photos are far more successful than your seascapes. The clean lines and colours are particular are very impressive and work very well and the lead-in lines make "Walkways" a success.
I think that might be my problem with the seascapes. They're very horizontal and not so easy on the eye.
Hope this helped! :)

I liked the splash of color for the repetition of lines and the, well... color. From the heavens was my favorite of the seascapes. You have mostly level horizons which is good. You have begun a hobby that will be satisfying and rewarding for a lifetime, and you have lots of time to learn, explore and improve.

Here is my favorite link for new photographers:

Keep at it. Take a class or join a club or group for mentoring and feedback on the local level. Learn basic technical and artistic stuff and apply your knowledge in your photography. Look at good images and study the lighting and composition. Keep practicing. Have fun and best wishes.
