Feds order BP to devise quicker oil collection methods

if you think BP has the best people working on this with the best resources at hand, then you are sadly mistaken.
 
The fuck up of the chain of commanend over the federal response to this incident. Who the fuck is in charge of it?
 
All the government can and should do is basically what they've done.

Monitor the situation and tell BP what the deal is.

That they need to get this shit done or they are going to get fucked in the ass even harder than they already are.
 
Never said someone else should do it or could do it. BP is sucking balls at it though
 
They should blow it up. Buuuuuuut, if they stop the leak with a nuke, the oil is cutoff completely, which makes BP very mad (and the gubment because of the tax dollars). Hence, they need a solution that stops the leak, while still being able to get teh oil.

Tricky shit.
 
yeah ims ure they didnt spend time denying there was even a leak, and then denying the true size of it and refusing to allocate resources and still continue to deny the underwater plumes and do nothing about it

It would be more like ordering NASA to allocate more of its resources to finding solutions to global warming.

A perfectly reasonable thing to do.

"I am concerned that your current plans do not provide for maximum mobilization of resources to provide the needed collection capacity consistent with revised flow rates,"
