Federal Judge Blocks Alabama Illegal Immigration Law

I think the illegal immigration problem is blown out of proportion by racists and xenophobes. We need immigration reform, no doubt, but the liberty infringing approaches by a few states thus far isn't the way to do it.

If an illegal immigrant is identified by means that would not be infringing the rights of a legal resident, they should be deported. Assuming there's no legitimate case for amnesty, I don't see why any known illegal shouldn't be deported.

How is deporting them criminalizing them? You get caught, you get the boot. Same thing as when your mom caught you with your hand in the cookie jar, you get a smack on the back of the hand and are told to gtfo of the kitchen.

Seems like a lot of points that could be argued. There are a lot of assumptions in it, and it even admits that illegals are underrepresented.

It also has a bunch of info about the 1970s and 1980s. I'm not economic genius, but isn't the economy and immigration's affect on the nation night and day different in the modern day?

Nah, actually admission would be more along the lines of, "Alright, I admit it. I'm xenophobic. I hate/fear foreigners." Your interpretation of someone's reasons or beliefs is something different, but feel free to continue letting your ego dictate what worRAB do or do not mean.
