Federal Court: Massachusetts Law Against Recording Of On-The-Job Cops Is Unconstituti

It doesn't "grow into" a life. Either it's alive or it's not.
If it's alive, either it's merely the mother's own tissues or it is distinct from her own tissue.
If the latter, it is a different, unique human life and not a part of the mother's body.

They are not above the law, but laws do apply to them differently. For example, I can't run red and blue flashing lights on my car, even if I'm on my way to an emergency. I have to use a blinker when I turn, and they don't. They can sit on the roaRABide "running silent" while we are required to engage our emergency flashers for safety. We can't drive too long in the left lane of a multi-lane highway (I've actually been pulled over for doing that). There are a myriad of things cops can do that citizens can't.

Video recording events taking place in public should NOT be one of those things, though.

I'll also point out that Joe_Cool is wrong on this one. It's true. The whole point of abortion being legalized via court order isn't really abortion being legalized at all, but a woman having a right to privacy.

I should be able to abort abortion providers under the same standard. Oh well.

Glad our legal system was clogged with something that should be plain as day to anyone that can read. Thank you Massachusetts police lobbyists, and the politicians and Attorney General that supports them!

If the right to terminate a human life is merely a question of privacy, I bet serial killers were thrilled about Roe v Wade!

The fact that the supreme court SAID it's a question of privacy doesn't mean that it IS a question of privacy.

Okay, so you think that right at conception, it is a distinct individual human life, correct? And as such you think it should be awarded the same protections as a toddler walking down the street with their mom, yes?

Who was it that was defending the idea of not being able to record on duty police?

I want to say Joe Cool? (not sure though, so don't quote me on it)

as long as these amateur camermen keep some distance then i support them videotaping. if they think they can walk right up to shit a be nosy then no.
