My whole life i have been very skinny. There is nothing wrong with me, im not ill, i eat tons, in fact i eat more than all my friends and family, i just have a very fast metabolism.
So im fed up of skinny people being criticised in every magazine newspaper and tv show.
Why is it ok to pick on skinny people? why is it ok to pick on their shape, suggest they are disgusting etc??
Yes i agree that skeletal women who are starving themselves are bad role models to children, BUT believe it or not, not all skinny girls are ill or making themselves puke, WERE JUST LIKE THAT, so its so unfair that everyday i see magazines titles saying big is beautiful, curves look better, men dont like skinny women etc??
Take Beth Ditto for example, she is being portrayed as a role model, she is praised in all the magazines for having a big figure, she has even just launched a plus size clothing range, Sorry but the women is morbidly obese, so how is that not giving out a bad message "hey kids eat junk food, get obese"
How can we have shops like Evans that are just for plus size women, when we cant have shops just for women size 8 and under??
I thinks its awful that skinny girls are being singled out and bullied by the media, being obese is just as bad, yes like i said being bulimic or anorexic is not ok, and girls with that problem need help, But its not all of us.
What do you think about all this?
Is it ok to be naturally skinny?
Do we deserve to be picked on?
Why is it ok to support obese people?
