Favourite Vengeance Movie!

I just stumbled across this and thought it was quite good! I've never really thought of this as a genre before! There's quite a lot of big angry 'vengeance' movies missing, but still some good ones in there! Anyone care to fill in the gaps?

The most obvious omission would be Sympathy For Mr Vengeance.

Yep, the daddy of all vengeance films, Dead Mans Shoes, that film scares the f*** out of me, I felt like I knew most of those people at some stage in my life.

It's technically a 4 part TV mini-series...but shot on film with high production values....my vote goes to 'Le Comte de Monte Cristo' (1998).

It looks like a general list to me. I'm sure I've seen lists on there before where they actually number them in the captions and count down. Shame they didn't do that with this one but I like the question answer low down on each movie!

The biggest ommission and arguably the ultimate vengeance movie from my point of view is.....


Fist of Fury!

That film is about vengeance on so many levels and is all about Lee getting that vengeance, pure vengeance.
