Hi folks, sitting about to watch che part one & two, it made me think whats your favourite subtitled film? mines up to this is Pand Labyrinth.

I like foreign films with subtitles because, I think, it makes me read it more like a book with pictures so the story is more embedded into my head.

My favourite is either Run Lola Run or The Princess and the Warrior (both German, and both star the same lead!)

Show Me Love, or ****ing Amal to give it it's correct title. Not that I have seen many subtitled films, but this was a great film.

Pan's labyrinth of course!

Also watched this french film in my first year at uni, but can't remember what it's called for the life of me! I think it may be French New Wave, but it is about this man and he nearly dies continually throughout the film, through an array of accidents, and at the end he commits suicide, but you don't see it, just the woman he is dating explaining what happened to a police officer. Brilliant film, really wish I could remember it's name though :(

EDIT: just had a look for it, Masculin Feminin - Jean luc godard :)

(the title neeRAB accents on the e's but I don't know how to do that on my laptop :o)

Another vote for Run Lola Run. Also A Very Long Engagement - staggeringly brilliant film that should be on everyone's top 10 of the decade IMHO. Love the Motorcycle Diaries too.

Let The Right One In

War and Peace (if you've got 8 hours to spare :) )

3 wishes (or hazelnuts) for Cinderella (the most gorgeous girl in the world - shame about the dead fox)
