The transformation in American Werewolf in London nails it evertytime as far as I'm concerned.

Close second, the first sight of the T Rex in Jurrassic Park, although every scene with dino's was breathtaking.

Sorry everybody but i am a Star Wars Freak!! My Faves are Yoda finally showing us what he can do with a lightsabre in EP2 and Anakin v Obi Wan in EP3. But my all time SW faves is the Battle of Hoth in Empire Strikes back and the Battle of Yavin in A New Hope The AT AT walkers in Empire and Luke destroying the first death star in A New Hope absolute classics!!
