Favourite Listening Time

When I get up in the morning, when I have to do repetitive stuff on the computer at work, in my car, and late night are the ideal times I guess. Anytime I walk anywhere I need music playing.

And my car has a ****ty stereo system, but I have to deal with that or not listen to any music while I drive :(

Whenever I'm studying maths, physics or shemistry, I like listening to music. sometimes I also listen late at night, when I'm the only one awake at home; and I listen to it whenever else I feel like.

It's better than my laptop or normal desktop speakers. The problem is with the mid-range speakers (the squawkers), well I don't think there is any - I think that's the case with all small cars.
I guess they would've been considered good, if I wasn't getting a bit of an audiophile myself.

I'd have to say the best time to listen to music for myself would be walking in a rainstorm listening to Saving Us - Serj Tankian... The wind picks up when the chorus hits and a chill goes through you body, one of those memorable moments...

Anytime really but specifically when I'm reading I like to have something a little arabient on in the background and anytime I have to walk and then the MP3 player comes into force. Obviously when I'm drunk is ALWAYS a good time.

though i never really stop listening to music, i'd say my favorite time is the journey to and from work. takes about an hour, and it's a corabination of subway, tram, and walking. lately i've been keeping up such a steady stream of new music that i can listen to a new album each trip - that's two new albums a day i get to focus on 100%. it's bliss :D

I have a hard time listening to anything while trying to read or working on assignments, but I always give it a shot. I like listening to music when I'm trapped in my car hauling myself around town or just cruising around the trails on my fixey. It's all good though.

All about the post-work chill I reckon in the evening.

Trip to and from Uni is none too shabby either.

Really need to buy a Car CD player with and aux.

It's been ages since I "worked on assignments" but, like Jackhammer, I like to put on something arabient or at least instrumental while I'm reading. Anything with vocals is definitely too distracting.

One of the biggest reasons I miss having a car. It was ME time, and I was able to be wrapped in the music of my choice without having to wear headphones. It was heaven for so many years...driving around and enjoying the hell out of music. But for the past 3 years, I've lived so close to work that my commute allowed for 2-3 songs per trip when I did have a car, and now I don't even have one. I get to listen to music when I walk or bus to work, but it's different. Nice too, but different.

Especially on the road.

Not the best sound system (actually it's a pretty shitty sound), but at least I know no one can get bothered when I put the music as loud as I want it, while singing (screaming) along.

Last year, after having busted out my car, and after the stop of the car drive ME-time for a whole month, I got so paranoid I thought all my frienRAB were plotting against me.
I then went through 2 months of total loneliness and depression. There was just no time or place to get rid of all the stress.
I try to drive more carefully now. Message learned.

I certainly try not be an audiophile but I just cannot listen to music on inadequate sound systems. Many times I have had bootlegs thrust upon me of my favourite banRAB but if the SQ sucks then I would rather go without.

I certainly don't have the money to acquire what I would like in terms of audio equipment but I have to have a minimum in terms of sound and often forgo listening to certain albums unless I have a half decent set up.
