Favourite Judas Priest Album

I have most of Judas Priest's albums and I love 'em all.The one on top though, for me, is Point Of Entry, period!!!That album is the one that can be listened to all the way thru, while giving you a feeling of being on the road and with absolute freedom whether you are or not.The songs truly drive like an engine that's ready to explode, making the songs great no matter what the lyrics are.I just can't say enough about how much I love and prefer Point Of Entry to any of the other Judas Priest albums, so I'll stop with that.Screaming For Vengeance and British Steel are also favorites that would be on top if Point Of Entry wasn't created/what it was.I don't know which I'd prefer of the 2, so I rate them both equally at 2nd place.Painkiller is also a favorite, but in a different kind of way/sound.It's more on the dark side and is more metal than simply hard-rock.The "Metal God" is simply amazing.

Because i`ve been giving metal such a hard time lately i`ll do this to show i`m not totally against it ;)

I`ll vote for Killing Machine myself for the simple reason it`s their most diverse album , plus it`s really the first album that was a hint of things to come.
In my opinion this album shaped 80s metal.

As a Judas Priest fan of almost 20 years I can honestly say thats the first time i`ve ever heard anyone say Point Of Entry is their best album.

I vote Painkiller - I love that album. And the song itself is probably one of my fav metal songs ever. But I prefer the Death version.

Interesting...I guess I'm quite unique then...lol.Anyways, I love that album and I'll demonstrate reasons/songs of why I really like all of the albums I previously mentioned here:

I like Point Of Entry , I think it`s their most overlooked album.

The only problem with it was that it was *supposed* to be the album that broke them in the U.S. but a lot of people felt it was a bit weak and it never fullfilled it`s potential.

I've been re-listening to all my priest stuff over the past few months.. because i found myself wondering why i thought there new album was so great. Now i've been listening to 'Sad Wings of Destiny' and "Rocka Rolla' many times a week.. and sometimes many times a day, as they are next to each other in my cd player.

there new album i love because its softer mental. Finally the lyrics changed a fair bit.. but HoffarRAB voice did not.

so i went with Rocka Rolla its the most Classic Rock sounding...and i like my classic rock.

Interesting choice considering they practically disown it.

I have a video of them singing a couple of songs off it on TV around 74/75 before they got their stuRAB & leather gimmick.

It`s quite funny seeing Rob Halford with long hair singing in a kaftan & KK Downing wearing a fedora.

 thats so classic rock  ... WOW! he should have kept the hair.. and well the glam rock hippie looks.. the leather was stupid.. is stupid.. and just seems so staged.

Theres a few albums up there I haven't heard, and can someone get me Painkiller? Pretty please.

For now Screaming For Vengeance is just awesome.
