Favourite DBZ character?

Vegeta, although Krillin comes in a close second. He may be weak compared to the non-human fighters, but he has that never-say-die fighting spirit that just endears me to him.

goku was my favorite good guy, he was an unassuming personality but behind that friendly smile he was a bada**, but he didn't really let on unless he had to open up a can (at least up until post frieza, then it was just overkill)
my favorite bad guy was probably the androiRAB or perhaps buu, they become good guys
my favorite human characters? bulma and videl, they rank among the strongest of the humans other then perhaps roshi

Once again, I have to disagree with you. Vegeta did love. For example, his father. He really loved and looked up to his father, and Frieza killed him even when he told Vegeta that he would leave his father alone as long as the boy did whatever he said. Frieza wasn't merely someone Vegeta didn't want to trifle with, he hated him with a passion because the bastard took everything from him. He was a five year old little boy, brutal yes,I'll give you that because it was part of his nature, but he loved his father, looked up to him. Frieza killing him is ultimately what led to Vegeta becoming as immersed in darkness as he was. Of course he didn't care about anyone after the death of his father. Why risk the same thing happening again if he allowed himself to care too much? You talk about all the Saiyans as if they were completely heartless, when that isn't true at all. Look at Bardock, if you need proof.

On the subject of Nappa, yes that was brutal and cruel, but the fact is, Nappa probably would have done the same exact thing if put in Vegeta's shoes.

Do you honestly thing someone as prideful as Vegeta would enjoy being ordered around by anyone, especially Frieza? Even if his Saiyan nature calls him into things like brutal killing, he most certainly wouldn't like being sent to do Frieza's bidding. I don't know where you got your logic there.

I agree with you on one point, that Trunk's death was the turning point for him, but, my view on Vegeta's goodness differs slightly. It was always there, and deep down I think he knew it, he just didn't want to acknowledge it. Also, as mentioned by King Havoc, Vegeta was the brains of the outfit, especially when he and Goku teamed up. I hate how everyone gives Goku credit for everything when Vegeta is just as important, and lets face it, a much more interesting character.

It is a tie between Piccolo the name you have! Yamcha is my favorite, because although he is no remarkably strong he is very cool.
Piccolo is a great character, an ex-villain gone good AND green

(wow a green and normal smiley for each of them)

Vegeta for sure, Goku's too lighthearted. I always enjoyed Vegeta the most, and it always hilarious for me to imagine him in any sort of normal social situation.

love vegetas attitude its funny lol
i wish yamcha wasn't so useless he can be a strong warrior if he wanted too ya know
but i don't like how they made gohan weak after he cell he was the strongest untill he got all soft lol

i gotta say goku, i mean, goku is GOKU cmon, he was awesome, strong and silly. I also liked gohan when he fought majin buu, when he had the red outfit, that gohan was sick.

Im going with EITHER krillin or Gohan... both extremely awesome and powerful... yes thats right i said Kirillin was POWERFUL!!! For a human he dominates, seeing as how he didnt DIE when he fought Cell, sure he died from a cheap shot from Frieza but that only triggered Goku to go SSJ

Gohan got better as the series progressed... I mean bu the time DBZ was coming to an end not only was me able to use Mystic transformation (which is where the first part of my username came from) but he is also the GREAT SAIYAMAN!!!!!!!

Besides... he got to mary a rich chicky

Woah, let's not get in to a fight about Yamcha being useless. He's probably the strongest human Z fighter thank you very much, he just takes on the opponents first or reveals techniques of theirs. Vegeta DID do all those things...after he saw the light from goku. No complains there? But lets put both Goku, Vegeta and Yamcha aside to show thanks to the true hero of the buu saga. Hercule. He got people to give their energy to the spirit ball, he moved vegeta out of the way so Goku could use the spirit. I mean, that's pretty big stuff.
