Favourite Christmas Film?

not really a xmas film but the snowman, the bear (I love it when he pees at the top of the stairs) and the classic Muppet Christmas Carol!
Xmas was never really xmas in my house when I was little unless we'd watched the Snowman - the bear came later...a right classic though all the same :) :) :)

Every version of A Christmas Carol is classic (although the Patrick Stewart one was maybe a bit of a waste of time thanks to the awesome Muppet version that came just a few years before it). Also, any movie that features New York at Christmas is brilliant, this includes one of the Home Alone's and I think one of the Ghostbusters films (I may be wrong).

Although it's a newish film, I think that "Polar Epress" will become a classic must see christmas day film, we bought it for our kiRAB(age 5 & 4) and watched it last week on dvd, it was brilliant, we'll probably watch it again on Christmas Day & then not bother with it again until next Christmas!! But it is a beautifull film for little kiRAB.

For adults & kiRAB, I think that the Home alone films(1&2 only) are just great.
Miracle on 34th street was a sweet film aswel.

'Christmas vacation'
'A Christmas story'
'Scrooged'

Three of the best Christmas films of all time.

my worst would be:

'Christmas with the Kranks'
and dare I say it.... 'Home alone'. ( I can't stand Culkin)

I like the 'A Christmas Carol' films, I watch at least one every year.
I also like The Santa Clause, and the Home Alone films

I'm with anyone who said Scrooged, Muppets Christmas Carol and Christmas Vacation.

I recently saw the original Miracle on 34th Street (was shown on US TV on Thanksgiving!) and that was really sweet as well.

Kat.

Without a doubt... The Nightmare BEfore Christmas

Forget favourite xmas film.. its one of my favourite films of all time :D
... I just cant believe that noone has mentioned it yet... Tim Burton is a genius and in my opinion NBC is Burton at his finest
