Favourite Christmas Film

Love this thread - am watching Elf as I type!!!

I adore xmas films and couldn't possibly choose just one so here is my list!

It's a Wonderful Life
Elf
Santa Claus the Movie
Muppets Christmas Carol
The Snowman (makes me cry every time)
Mickey's Christmas Carol
Love Actually

I do love the film Scrooged. It's really corny at the end but it's such a great film. I try and watch at least one new Christmas film each year (well new to me). Last year I finally watched The Polar Express which is a superb film, I can't believe it took me so long to watch it. I also watched "Deck the Halls" which was okay. This year I've got Santa Clause 3 and Fred Claus to get through.

And Home Alone 3 is very underrated (unlike the dire Home Alone 4) and it's worth watching just for the realisation that the plain and forgettable sister in the movie is actually Scarlett Johansson before she became famous.

Well, here's my list:

1. It's a Wonderful Life
2. Miracle on 34th Street (The Original)
3. The Muppet's Christmas Carol
4. The Bishop's Wife (Again, the original)
5. White Christmas
6. The Polar Express
7. The Littlest Light on the Christmas Tree

For 6 & 7 I do have a 5 year old son :)

Trading Places
Bad Santa
Scrooge
Muppet Christmas Carol
Hostile Hostages
We're No Angels (the original)
Elf

I can't believe we got to page 3 before someone mentioned the brilliant Trading Places! A superb film and some of the finest work of those involved (even better once I got old enough to actually understand the ending!)
