favourite cheesey 80's rock/pop track?

I wouldn`t lump Jefferson Airplane in with either Jefferson Starship or just Starship as they were a key band in the San Francisco psychedelic movement and released some essential albums from that genre, they also had a lot of extremely talented individuals of which Marty Balin was a great vocalist.

After that your quite right, as all their work was steered into a commercial direction which was a pity given all the talent on show, despite all that "Knee Deep in the Hoopla" was an album I enjoyed a lot.

Cheesy video but damn.. Dio’s ‘Holy Diver’ was actually an album with balls.

I’ll have to give a shout out to Depeche Mode here.
The whole Violator album is pure ear candy to me. “Never Let Me Down Again”, “Blasphemous Rumours”, “But Not Tonight” and lots of others are pretty addictive as well… :o:

Let's face it. Most cheesey music sucks, but if any era knew how to make good cheesey tracks, it had to be the 80's (personally my favourite era for all music).

So what are some of your favourite tracks? Most of mines tend to be from movies, "I still believe" (can't remeraber the guys name, saxophonist from the lost boys) and "Win in the end" by Mark Saffan are among two of my favourites.

I don't really think that's a cheesy song at all, and it's not literally about being in the jungle, the metaphor is pretty obvious.

Well, hey it's ok, I can't really criticize too much, after all, Ido happen to think that Genesis' Invisible Touch album was great, as were the ones that came after it... even the last one without Phil Collins...

While this probably could be corabined with The Cheese Thread, I'll go ahead and say that I love some occasional Twisted Sister.

It doesn't take itself seriously at all, and that's why I love it.
