Still haven't seen Waterloo Bridge, but my wife tells me it gets shown on Chinese TV all the time.

My favourites are the German expressionist films in b/w:
Metropolis
Nosferatu
M
The Cabinet of Dr Caligari (my all-time favourite!)

+ some of the other classics:
All Quiet on the Western Front
King Kong
Casablanca
Plan 9 from Outer SPace (funniest film ever, especialy once you've seen Ed Wood)

and a few modern classics:
La Haine
Schindler's List
Elephant Man
Sin City

Throughly enjoyed them all, but the prospect of watching black and white movies never seems overly appealing and I usually opt for something else - Probably missing out on some great films due to this pet hate.

Yep, apparently it's a big hit over in China. I had to import my copy from Korea. Sometimes you can catch it on TCM.

I can't believe I forgot Rebecca! One of my absolute favourite films!

There is a similar film to Repulsion called Frustration. Made in France in 1971 by a director called Jose Benazeraf.

Unfortunately it's not been made available on DVD.
