Erm i dont particularly rate the guy, couldn't stand him at first:eek:! Apart from the fact that he looks 13 or something (which scared me)! But to his credit the man (boy?) can act.

I dont really have a favourate film that he stared in, but i suppose if you asked me 5 years ago when i was 11 then i would of said Titanic!.......dont like the film much now though lol:D.

What film that he star in that you liked?

What's eating Gilbert Grape. By far his best role.

I don't rate him either. I just wish he'd stop appearing in films that I like the look of. I just can't take him seriously for some reason.

I see a film preview or something and think cool, that looks good. Then I see DiCaprio is in it and boom, I know it will be crap. He's good at the shallow stuff like Titanic and The Beach I suppose, but that aint my type of film.

He'just seems to be in films playing himself. He's got no depth to him, IMO.

Sorry, but Im a fan of the lad's work

What Eating is my top fav

The Beach was very good too....

and he rocked for his small role in Celebrity.

No that's Jodie Foster that wa in that film - great film tho.

The best Leo role was in What's eating Gilbert Grape? Really good in that - good in all he does relaly but especially that.

Well it is the only film that Dicaprio has been nominated for an oscar for - deserfvedly so. He plays the role of an autistic boy - the younger borther of JOhnny Depp - an incredibly accurate and moving account of what it is like for those of us who now autistic people.

If you iant seen teh film - get it on DVD - its one of those movies and you say - whats it about - the only reply is - people. People.

I thought his acting in Gilbert Grape was one of his best performances, oh well

I think he is a good actor, regardless of his appearance or attractiveness.
I like most of the movies he has starred in, especially William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet, Marvin's Room and This Boy's Life

But Total Eclipse was just awful :D

yup - *whats eating gilbert grape* is a great film.

to be fair to old leo tho' - that whole *titanic* thing. loved it myself, thought it was a great yarn, with great effects, and was ultimately extremely moving.

the fact that it won so many oscars, yet leo wasn't even nominated was a shocker. considering he was the main lead, and himself and kate winslet pretty much carried it for 3 hours, to then say yes, it was a great film in every respect, yet leo played no part in that was absurd IMO.
