Favorites Background

Hi I created a few images to try for a background on my T5. I tried several different sizes of the same pic but only a portion of each pic showed. The largest being 480x320. Although in the media viewer they showed up the correct size.

How do you get them to fill the
favorites background properly.
 
Within the desktop component for the T5, go to the Media section. Find your picture that you wish to use as a background and double click on it to bring it to the photo editor within the Palm Desktop.

If you've done this then you'll see the photo in two views:
1. is the shot
2. is the shot as pictured on the handheld would look like. If it doesn't appear correctly here it won't appear correctly on the T5.

The second icon is a resize option for the current picture. You can click on that icon and then you are provided with a check box that says the picture should be formatted to fit the device "match device resolution".

This should then set it for the proper resolution.
 
Thanks for your help but still when I set them as background images it zooms in on a portion of the picture instead of showing the full picture. Even If I use a smaller picture than the 320x480. But in media they show up correctly.

I am having the same exact problem.

I have a Tungsten T5 - and have made my own images for the background at 480x320. I have tried in portrait and landscape rotations.

It always scales the image to a portion... I just don't get it.

Viewing the images "Media" looks great - no scaling going on.
