whoever sings "War, *hugh*, what is it good for? apsolutly nothing". BTW can someone tell me the name of the song and artist, I would really apreaciate that.

Edwin Starr - War.

Originally recorded by the Temptations but never released.
The record was given to Edwin Starr because the Temptations were afraid of it's political content.

I made an (anti) war mix earlier this year...

$300,000,000,000.00 and Counting

1. Michael Stearns - From the Cradle (taken from this (http://www.firethistime.org/) album which is really interesting. Album is about 1st Gulf War but this song is general enough to use for this mix too).
2 Bright Eyes - Land Locked Blues
3 Damien Rice And Christy Moore - Lonely Soldier
4 Bloc Party - Price Of Gas
5 Fischerspooner - We Need a War
6 Radiohead - 2+2=5
7 Xiu Xiu - Support Our Troops (Black Angels OH)
8 ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead - WorlRAB Apart
9 Jay Farrar - Doesn't Have to be This Way
10 Zack de la Rocha & DJ shadow - march of death
11 Tin Pot Operation - Life of Luxury (JG Remix)
12 The Thermals - God and Country
13 Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra & Tra-La-La Band - God Bless our Dead Marines

Pink Floyd - When the Tigers Broke Free
Iron Maiden - The Trooper/Aces High/Run To the Hills
Black Sabbath - War Pigs

That was the first one I thought of, great song.

I thought Team America was painfully stupid. I didn't make it very far into the movie before I got fed up and stopped watching.

As for the poll, I think I'm gonna go with Fear - Let's Have a War.
Not to be confused with the APC cover, which was pretty bad.

I'm not sure why no one has put this yet.

Edwin Star - War

Good God man, what is it good for? Absolutely nothin'. Say it again.

On the lighter side (not that there really is a lighter side of war), I'd like to add "Freedom Isn't Free" from the "Team America" soundtrack.

"If you don't throw in your buck-o-five, who will?"
