Favorite tv, and movie parodies

Long before Family Guy, Nicktoon shows has had some hillarous moments parody the real world's entertainment stars.

What are some of you favorite parody moments.

The Fairly Odd Parents, Tad and Chad's movie in whish Arnold Schrosinador was Hamlet. "I'll be back with weapons."

Rugrats, one of the early episode in which the gang goes to the movie. That whole episode really, highlights is the Dummi Bear (a parody of the Care Bears) movie which had all of the adults on the verge of tears. And the part when the babies walk in on a Robert DeNero movie in which he says his famous line "Your talking to me", in which Chuckie replies "No I was talking to Tommy."

Every parody in FOP "Channel Chasers", noteably favorites include Speed Racer, Peanuts, Scooby Doo, and the Simpson parodies.

But my favorite moment is undoubtly the episode of Rocko's Modern Life in which Rocko and Heffer go to the movies. It had some funny parodies, such as "Dracula Has Been Done To Death", and "Ninja Hampster".

But the highlight, the number one movie parody in Nicktoons history is "Garbage Strike: The Musical". I will never forget the song's lyrics. It was so funny, than at the end they come back after the movie theater is trashed and one of them says "I am not cleaning that up." And another one says "And why is that?" and they go back into song.

Speedy, is that from the Rocko episode Popcorn Pandemonium? Because I remember a couple of other really funny spoofs therein (my personal favorite is "NOT THE LITTLE POOTS!!!!!!!")

My perosnal favorite Nick parodies are Zim's Hamstergeddon and Ren and Stimpy's Jiminy Lummox. The former is just about the ultimate "giant mutant creature goes on a rampage in a major metropolitan city" send-up, and the latter is just nuts, and funny in a stupid sort of way (Ren chews Stimpy out for using his dentures to scale fish, everything freezes, and Jiminy just completely knocks Ren's lights out with a huge-ass monkey wrench)

Nope, that's from the beginning of "Uniform Behavior", the episode where Heffer becomes a nighttime security officer. Filburt also references Robofrog 5 in "Wacky Delly".

Popcorn Pandemonium is a classic. Yes there is a parody of the Smurfs called the Little Poots, in which the super hero comic book parody character Really Really Big Man accidently steps on them.

I loved this episode not only for parodies, but the stuff that happened to Rocko. The ushers all wearing the same shirt Rocko wears, and when Rocko was mistaking for an usher and that woman made him talk to that big guy with the cigar.

Yeah, "Popcorn Pandemonium" is one of my favorites. They skewer just about every major annoyance with movie theaters, though arguably my favorite joke doesn't involve theaters at all. When the fat lady orders a ton of snacks and a diet Cola ("After all I have to watch my girlish figure!")... so classic. That's strangely how people think, too- like a diet soda will make all the fatty foods OK. :p

I neglected to mention the hilarious "It's a Wonderful Life" parody at the end of "Skid Marks":

"Daddy daddy! Teacher says every time a gas cap is found, an angel gets its wings!"
"YOUR TEACHER'S FULL OF SNOT!" :D

"All Grown Up" has included a few movie parodies in its episodes, like Poltergeist in "Curse of Reptar" and Bend it Like Beckham in "The Big Score".

And I also enjoyed "Hamlet" (FOP; "Movie Magic") with Arnold Schwartzengerman.
