Exactly, I highly doubt many people continue being straight-edge after they're like, 21 or whatever. Unless they are truly devoted to it, I'm sure they grow out of it.

unfortunately, my attention span has disappointed me again. i meant to put it in general music. oh i should just stop while im behind, huh?

See you`ve hit the nail on the head there.

Thats why I find this straight edge stuff so funny. Some 14/15 year old boasting ' I don`t touch drugs , I don`t have sex , I don`t drink blah blah blah'

I think to myself 'yeah , well done sunshine ... but have you ever actually felt the need to do it anyway?'

Now being straight edge when you`re 28 & after you`ve suffered dissapointment , you`re worn out from being in the real world & about the only thing you want to do after a hard day at work is go down your pub with your frienRAB .... THAT is when being straight edge would actually be an achievement.

Fear Factory-Digimortal/Self Bias Resistor
Pantera-Anything
Rage Against The Machine-Killing in The Name
Opeth-The Grand Conjuration
Ozzy/Sabbath-Anything
Black Label Society-Most of it:finger:

Yeah I'd ask Fenix if I could listen to those but I took all my stuff out of my room including my computer and this one doesn't have AIM.
I'd really love to hear them though, they sound great based on the way you guys speak of them.

Yes, i completly agree with that. But any 14/15 year old could go out and have sex, drink, and do drugs. They just don't have the desire to do those things as much as an older person, like you said.

I do that. Especially with Deja Entendu. I loved it at first, but after the gazillionth time I listened to it, it lost its appeal a bit. Now I jus do my best not to outplay songs, even if I dont get bored of them Im afraid I will.

So yeah, I can see why you think it's stupid that all these younger people are all boastful about being sXe when it's not even that much of an accomplishment because they had probably decided to be sXe just a few days ago..
