Favorite shows within a show

What are you favorite fictional cartoon shows that excist within a real cartoon?

Sometimes did you ever wish they did real episodes on these fictional shows?

Itchy And Scratchy show (The Simpsons) it had some funny stuff, including the one when Itchy was dressed in drag on a beach.

Buddy Bears (Garfield and Friends) they annoyed Garfield, and it was just so funny how they annoyed him.

Fatheads (Rocko's Modern Life) I really don't know. I just found them entertaining.

Muddy Mudskipper show (Ren and Stimpy show) I liked it best for the theme song. It was a catchy jingle. Plus Muddy's old school attitude with the catchphraise "You lousy bum." But it was mostly the theme song. I have never forgotten to that song.

Those of what that come to mind at this moment.

Lets remember to explain why we like things. List thread rules and all that.

I liked the Fatheads cartoon from Rocko, primarily for the theme song.

The Crimson Chin, which was a comic and a tv series on FOP. Mostly for Jay Leno having no problem constantly reprising the role. Plus it was a decent parody of Batman/Daredevil.

I loved the Crimson Chin, I don't know if he counted because he was a comic book characters, not cartoon character.

May I also had his rival Crash Nebula.

Here is a pereference I have for this list. I prefer we list cartoon shows within the show. Shows that are considered cartoons in this fictional shows. Not shows that are live action in these fictional shows like Krusty the Clown, who is a cartoon to us, but in the Simpsons he is live action.

A couple of the short bits they did on Family Guy
Dagermouth and Boom Boom, Sherry and the Anus, 2 and 1/2 men

Then Terrence and Philip from South Park and Stimpy's Cartoon

My favorite cartoons that excist within a real cartoon are:

Itchy & Scratchy(Simpsons) - My most favorite which is the best Tom & Jerry copy which is more hilarious along with bloody violence/massacre which Itchy is more badder than Jerry on bashing on poor Scratchy like with Tom with the violent/sadistic/gory stuff.

The Squishy Bears(Eek! the Cat) - I love those bears which they're funny which they're a parody of the CareBears which even Pierre the green bear is like Grumpy the CareBear & that part when they were being Boyz II Men called Bearz II Men was hilarious.

The Fatheads(Rocko's Modern Life) - They were both funny & disgusting cartoon characters which has its popularity created by Ralph Bighead.

The Muddy Mudskipper Show(Ren & Stimpy) - It's Stimpy's favorite cartoon show which Muddy Mudskipper was funny for being a mean jerkoff fish on Stimpy much like Ren.

Terrance & Phillip/Chinpokomon/Russell Crowe Show(South Park) - I love Terrance & Phillip were they're pretty funny Canadians with their fart jokes & their episode when they split apart was the best & Chinpokomon was an interesting Pokemon parody with the weird creatures along with an Ash/Team Rocket copy with the selling merchandise brainwashing the kids from the Japanese was funny which is also my favorite episode & the Russell Crow show is funny when he beats people up & his ship committing suicide.

Immature Radioactive Samurai Slugs(Tiny Toon Adventures) - It was a funny cartoon parody of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles dealing with mutant martial artist slugs saving the world along with the Iodizer who's a cool & funny supervillain with Hamton & Plucky being the slugs which is my favorite episode ever.

Plunger Boy(What-a-Cartoon Show:Godfrey & Zeek in "Lost Control") - I thought that cartoon was kind of funny with Plunger Boy going scary/psycho over a do-not-touch rule.

The Crimson Chin(Fairly Oddparents) - He's a pretty funny superhero who's a parody of Batman/Daredevil and the dumb/wacky supervillains were interesting like the Bronze Kneecap & Crimson Chin's evil twin & it's Jay Leno's best VA role ever.

Action Kamen(Crayon Shin-chan) - He's Shin-chan's favorite superhero which he's cool & funny when he beats those supervillains & used Penny's mom's bunny-bashing move which was funny.

Does My Black Son (from Family Guy) count, even if it's just an intro?

Other than that Invader Zim's Scary Monkey Show is work a chuckle for sheer stupidity.

"Coming Attractions"- The Critic

It's funny how most of the parody movie sequels are better than the actual movie sequels that were made after the shows demise.

Here are some of my favorites:

Cheat Commandos- I'm guessing this counts. A hillarious send up of every single 1980's cartoon ever made, most noticably G.I. Joe (and contains special elements of various others, the character of Crackotage contains elements of Wordsworth from heathcliff, noticably the rhyming and headphones). And let's not forget the parody celebrity voice Gunhaver, Crack Stuntman.

Captain Courage of the Cosmos- In one of my favorite episodes of Ducktales, the nephews and Doofus are completely spellbound by a cheap, pathetic Sci Fi show, and it's fake hero, Captain Courage. Launchpad, however, despises it.

Bionic Bunny/ Dark Bunny- I always liked the random super Heor shows kids watched while watching them in their series. Bionic Bunny is just one of them. Dark Bunny, however, is a pretty decent send up of Batman TAS (especially the theme song).

Channel DDD- I epecially love the King DDD of the Stars cartoon. One of my favorite episodes. And the sequal, where they hire dorks to animate a new episode for them, and wind up getting Tiff Hentai.

Action Kamen- the only thing I truely like about the US production of Crayon Shin-Chan is the name change of this character. But other than that, a great sentai warrior send up. ACTION BEEEAM!

Slappy Squirrel Cartoons- No. not those ones. The ones she filmed in her glory days that you rarely get to see. And when you do, they get cut off by Wacky Snacks commercials.

Binky the Clown- "If you don't do jumping jacks with Binky, you'll grow up to be WORTHLESS!" Need I say more?

I also like a lot of others mentioned. Terrance and Phillip, Krusty the Klown, Itchy and Scrathy, Crimson Chin, Muddy....

Here are a couple more addition, technically they are not cartoons shows within a cartoon show, but cartoon movies within a cartoon show. And it is only the individual episode of movie that I liked, not the cartoons themselfs.

Little Poops the movie (Rocko's Modern Life) - a parody of the Smurfs, it was real funny when they got stepped on by Really Really Big Man. To quote Heffer "Not the little Poops."

Dummi Bears In The Land Without Smiles (Rugrats) - a parody of the Care Bears. it was a corny movie, but once you get into the story, it is hard not to want things to work out. I felt that way with the first two Care Bear movies. Just like the adults, I wanted to know if that little girl would pull through. And we never found out if she did, those dam trouble making babies they ruin things for everybody. I agree with Stu "It just isn't fair." LOL

It was mentioned at post #5, but yeah, that's a classic.

"I AM THE CHEESE! I AM THE BEST CHARACTER ON THE SHOW! I AM BETTER THAN BOTH THE SALAMI & THE BOLOGNA COMBINED!"
