favorite(s) Creator/Author? Why?

Kind of a basic and easy question. So, who do you like? And please...Please....PLEASE tell us why! Don't just leave the name and walk away. also, if you can show a picture of their work, maybe? Try at least!

Ok, here's one of my favorite creator: Eiichirō Oda

I find his art style is one of the top 10 most creative one I seen. A little mix of western cartoon style and a Mix of anime. And I never heard many stories about Pirates, so it's fun to see one like this.

As well, I did took some "Here & there" on Eiichirō Oda art style.

My art style was a lot like Akira Toriyama (which is another of my favorite Creator) art style, but when I was looking at Oda's; I went a little loss with my work. Just a little.

Kenichi Sonoda.

Look here and you will see why: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/people.php?id=102

I would say more, but i gotta get to work, later...

Arina Tanemura. Sure, a good nuraber of her male characters look the same (especially when they have that same haircut!), but she has a lot of humor which I like. I got into her stuff through Gentlemen's Alliance +, but I actually like some of her other, magical girl stuff better. GA+ is just a high school drama.

Seconded....Well, except for Hunter X Hunter being my favorite, because I love it, but its only one of my favorites. Yu Yu Hakusho is closer to being my favorite series of all time, but, overall, I really love both series to death.

I didn't like Level E, but it was short, so I can forgive Togashi for that.

Oh, also, if Bakuman still continues to be as addicting as it is, then Tsugumi Orabroada and Takeshi Obata may make their way up to being on par with Togashi, for me, since they are also the brilliant team that made Death Note.

I would also like to say Akira Toriyama, but I've only read Dragon Ball, and still have yet to read his second most popular manga, Dr. Slump. I also need to check out Sand Land, while I'm at it.

As for Eichiro Oda, as much as I like One Piece, its the only major series under his name, so far. I know that he did some shorts and stuff before One Piece got serialized, but that's still not quite enough for him to be one of my favorites. I have to see a minimum of at least 2 major works which are good for me to consider a mangaka to be one of my favorites, and in Oda's case, he's still a LONG way away from finishing his first major title, as we all know.
