Favorite Random Quotes of all time.

In inspiration of the thread Crowning Moments of Awesome (In animation), I'm starting a new thread for your favorite random quotes of all time. Cartoon or live-action.

For those that dont know, a random quote is something a character says that would not make sense to the viewer unless they saw the scene or scenes that led up to the quote (most of the time). Here are a few examples of my favorites:

1. Stella from Winx Club "Bananas got us out":
The girls escaped from cloud tower thanks to Bloom leading them out while under a trance obtaining directions from Daphne who was deep within Bloom. While walking down the tunnel, Bloom said (roughly), "Call me bananas, but i heard a voice in my head." So Stella says, "Bananas got us out."

2. Rose's boyfriend from Full Metal Alchemist "Rose?":
Rose was promised that if she belived in the priest and did whatever he asked, he would revive her boyfriend. She finally got in the room of her boyfriend, only to find out he was just an abomination and not really revived.
So her boyfriend leans back and forth saying, "Rose? Rose? Rose?" (Been a long time since i've seen that episode, so i dont remember the details. Can anyone correct me?)

3. Navigator from Code Geass "Sir Kurugi! Bubbles!"
While the Black Knights were under attack by Suzaku Kurugi's forces out at sea, Zero saves them by ordering them to shoot under water near a hydrolics pump at the bottom of the seabed causing bubbles to form up to the surface which instantly causes all of the boats to get stuck. So i think the boat was capsizing, and the Navigator yelled over the radio, "Sir Kurugi! Bubbles!"

Those are the quotes i can think of at the moment, if i think of any more, i'll add them.
 
An interesting thread, I'll add these two fav. random quotes, one from an Anime OAV and the other from a long defunct yet completed animated series:

"It may not be fair, but that's the way it is, so why don't you give up now so I won't have you on my conscience for the rest of my life, please?" (Project A-ko) Which poor Ine pleaded to A-ko before the eventual trashing of the mecha suit by main character.


Peter Pan: "I won't join your crew even if I'm dead and buried."

Captain Patch: "That be all it takes." (Peter Pan and the Pirates)

That was one of the best quotes ever (imo) when the wraith of Capt. Patch (Capt. Hook's older brother) challenged Peter to a fight.
 
well I can think of a couple Kim Possible quotes.. and here they are.

Sick Day- In this one Duff Killigan is lying in bed sick and you see him throw a tissue box at the television as he says "Are you daft, man?! Just 'cause you have her brain in your head, it doesn't mean you can't love her!"

This particular comment is in reference to Mind Games and the episode So the Drama. (In Mind Games, Kim and Ron switch brains and eventually Kim and Ron do fall in love in So the Drama.)

Then there's The Fearless Ferret, and in fact these three are memorable.

Ron: "Just think of me as... a friend."

:^:In this particular scene Ron is hanging upside down and from the standpoint of the scene Ron in a way looks like Spiderman from the movie Spiderman (in short, the scene plays out the exact same way. with Kim Starting to pull up Ron's mask exposing his lower face.

Ron: "If somebody told you I was just ordinary teenage sidekick, somebody lied."

:^: Again another Spiderman Movie reference. and it refers to Peter Parker saying the exact same lines.. If someone said I was just only a friend, then someone lied.

and then there's this line spoken by Timothy North (Voiced by Adam West)

Timothy North: "I was an actor in a TV show that got cancelled after two seasons."

:^:This is in reference to the old Batman series of the 1960's where The series was in fact cancelled after just two and a half seasons on TV (1966-1968) Also because Adam West was most memorable as "Batman" He really couldn't get another role until Batman:TAS showed up where he played the Grey Ghost, (Another reflection of his inabilty to get work). Even on The Simpsons he was portrayed as Adam West as Batman. But it wasn't until Family Guy that Adam finally was portrayed as himself rather then the indominable Batman figure he portrayed. But to a lot of fans he was definitely an actor on a show that got cancelled after just 2 seasons.


But there's a few there that I remember.

From Invader Zim...

GIR: Your methods are stupid; your progress has been stupid; your intelligence is stupid! For the good of the mission, you MUST be destroyed!

In an attempt to make GIR more useful, Zim gave him an intelligence chip, which ended up making GIR so smart GIR began to question Zim.

Gaz: The pig....COMMANDS ME!

Gaz has been hypnotized by a commercial for Bloaty's Pizza Hog, and decides to go there for Family Night.

Mysterious Mysteries Host: Nothing matters anymore! Maybe I'M crazy! *insane jabbering while shaking the camera*

The Host has been mentally scarred by doing an episode of Mysterious Mysteries with Dib, Zim, Gir, and Gaz.

From FLCL....

Naota: Those... eyebrows.

Naota is distracted by Amarao's eyebrows...

Haruko: YOU ARE A MILLION YEARS UNDER-EVOLOVED, PRIMITIVE MONKEY!

I have recently been thinking about ?Sabrina, The Animated Series? and there was one episode in particular, ?Tail Of Two Kitties?, which had a quote that cracked me up and was entirely random. In that episode, Salem found another cat who turned out to be a witch that he had loved four centuries earlier, but broke up when he got nervous and stood her up on the night he was going to propose to her. In order to set things right, he brought a bouquet of fish to her home and wanted to say ?Scheherazade, I was a cad, please forgive me.?, but when she opened the door, he nervously said?

?Scheherazade, I killed a clam, please forgive me!?

?The way that the line was delivered by Salem?s voice actor was perfect and it always had me in stitches. It?s a shame I only managed to watch a handful of episodes for that series.
 
I'd have to say this quote from 6teen's Jude.

"Babies have got it made: boobs AND candy".

He said that after (I think) Jonesy said "It'll be like taking candy from a baby". Then again 90% of Jude's lines are random and funny. :anime:
 
my fav. right now is from the sonic the hedgehog comics, a Dark Legion Flunkie, (there a group of evil Echindna's, Infact they were the insperation for the Dark brotherhood in Chronicles.)

anyway one of the Legionars said this during a fight with the Freedom fighter & chaotix says.

"The Blue Hedgehog is making faces at us mam!"

I'd say that the randomest quote of all time would have to be Yakko Warner's "This always happens! Every time we get ahold of a chubby sidekick, he's kidnapped by a Scottish guy in a big sombrero in a flying machine!" from Animaniacs. I may be paraphrasing, but that's the jist of it. I burst out laughing every time I hear it, as this is just the weirdest and randomest sentence I have ever heard.
 
(Zim tries to get rid of a zit with a bar soap, but finds it makes it worse because there was greasy bacon inside it)
Zim: Why was there BACON IN THE SOAP?!
GIR: I made it myself!

That line just completely caught me offguard for a Saturday morning kid's show, but then again, so did this line from Pee-Wee's Playhouse:

pretty much anything ed says is pretty random

a few standards "gravy" "butter toast" and one i can not wuite remember "what do you do when you don't have a shoe and all you have is a soul?"
