This is my year too, but I haven't seen any of these!

Ok so, 1987. Going through the list, I realised I hadn't seen A LOT of the films that came out that year  My favourites from that year, though, would probably be:

Withnail & I - It's almost like a British version of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, but with lots of drinking instead of drug-taking :P It's a bit of a slow-paced movie, and the concept is really simple, but the dialogue is GOLDEN, the best and funniest thing about the whole film. It was just very witty and had some classic one-liners.

RoboCop - This was a movie I grew up with, I can't help but love it. It's a classic!

There's actually a lot of films on the list I've been meaning to watch, but just haven't got round to yet.

Oh man...I must've missed Clue on the list, I would've definitely included that on my list as well. That movie is so cheesy but hilarious, I love it! I love Mr. Green!

this is tough! so many good ones

my top five from 1987:

The Lost Boys
The Chipmunk Adventure
Can't Buy Me Love
Planes, Trains, and Automobiles
Dirty Dancing

Yeah, Return to Oz was a freak show!

BTW, just a reminder not to just list the films. Tell us why they are your favorites from that year.

Clue!! I love this movie... great actors, funny, and has three different endings. Well, sort of.

Follow that Bird. I loved this movie when I was a kid.

Return to Oz was made in '85? I liked that movie too.. creepy with the many different heads. If you've seen it.. you'll know what I mean.

I was born 1983, I love Trading Places from that year. Its one of the only movies I still have respect for Eddie Murphy.
