wow, i have a few

Jake and Melanie from Sweet Home Alabama; they had chemistry and they just worked together

Landon and Jamie from A Walk to Remember: loved the movie, loved them. they had chemistry and the story was just great

Erik (the Phantom) and Christine from Phantom of the Opera: their story is of love that never had a chance to develop. Plus, Gerard Butler adn Emmy Rossum had great chemistry

i think my fav of the moment are Oliver and Emily from A lot like love
Because Ashton and Amanda have such great chemistry.
And it's so great that they spent 9 years to realize that what they had together was already love.
Glad they did realize it anyway.Sometimes people in real life never do that.
LoL

I know when I FIRST saw the movie I was like OMG I want someone to look at me like that. Why dont anyone look at me like that :( I gots to go cry now

Angie

I saw Tristan & Isolde this weekend, and they're definetly my #1 movie couple now, I love tragic love stories

i have to agree with this one! Cutting Edge is one of my all-time favorite movie because I simply love these two  i love pairings who are total opposites yet they still complement each other... their constant bickering and trying to outdo each other was a great foreplay for their true feelings! :)

I second that completely, I love Elizabeth and Jack, they do have great chemistry and they are just Fun to watch together

Gah, Bobby/Kitty just wrecked Bobby/Marie for me. John/Marie def had chemistry brewing there.

One of my all time favorite couples is Anne/Gilbert from the 'Anne of Green Gables' films. There's something about their relationship and how it evolved throughout each of the films that speaks to the romantic part of me.

wow I can't believe anybody could actually just choose one as a movie lover there are so many couples that I really enjoy so much.

The more tragic couples usually are some of my favorites, such as Romeo and Juliet, Jack and Rose from Titanic, and Landon and Jamie from AWTR. They all gave up everything to be together. Romeo and Juliet both gave up their life. Jack gave up his life to keep her alive and Landon gave up basically all his friends and devoted the rest of his time to being with Jamie til the end of her life. I think this is really the show of complete and unconditional love for someone. I don't think it probably happens that much in reality, but it sure is nice to think that someone could love another person that much.

baileycat-I loved Capt Von Trapp and Maria from SOM they def had the sexual tension between them and you could tell this from the beginning of the movie. btw you should come over to the SOM thread here and there thread at the couples board there aren't too many posters over there sorry to pimp them, but I really love this movie and couple :D

*hits floor in shock*

Okay, well - if you can choose a favorite couple of all time, so I can I...

*tries really hard*

Okay, I can't do it! I love too many to choose! Give me a genre and I might do better...

^ I loved Johnny and Baby from "Dirty Dancing".

A big couple that i remember loving from childhood is Danny and Sandy from "Grease". I would watch the movie continuesly and i even memorized the songs.

But my main favorite is Noah and Allie from "The Notebook".

I have more than one film couple..
Satine and Christian from Moulin Rouge. I think because their story was so tragic and forbidden. The determination to be together is just :sigh:
Ewan and Nicole's chemistry was undeniable, I am waiting for the day that they do a film together again.

Darcy and Lizzie in the 2005 version of P&P. OMG. You really want to be Lizzie, the dialogue all the way through, there's something about story- how can you not love that couple? I wish someone looked at me like that

Someone mentioned Emily and Oliver in A Lot Like Love; I find this film so cute. Really and truly, it kept me gripped all the through and you really root for them to be together. Or at least I did. The fact they seemed so different did it for me also, and how they just knew eachother without seeing eachother for a long length of time. It'd be nice to have something like that.

And these aren't even all of them

What about Maria and Captain VonTrap from The Sound of Music? Their banter and sexual tension was spectacular. Not to mention their duets. :in_love: "Though somewhere in my youth or childhood, I must have done something gooood."

Second for me would be Wesley and Buttercut from The Princess Bride. And of course the classic uber sighworthy, "As you wish".

Favorite movie couple is James Bond & Vesper Lynd. Their chemistry in Casino Royale was just so incredible. They really made you see that the characters really loved each other. Both of them protected one another on different occassions throughout the movie. Vesper loves Bond every bit as much as he loves her. I love this film.

It's ironic thinking back to when I first saw the first POTC movie. I was a Willabeth shipper! Mostly because I was crazy about Orlando Bloom back then so I felt obliged to be anyway. But I honestly really liked the two of them in the first movie

However, as I got older and the sequels came out, I realised how potentially great Sparrowbeth would be. I noticed that Lizzie was the only woman who really challenged Jack, and, you know, got to him emotionally. Plus there was the amazing chemistry. I think part of me knew the writers wouldn't keep it going, but after time I became much more of a Sparrowbeth shipper.

i love Scarlette and Rhette too!

i have soo many but too name a few.... Monica and Quicy  from "Love and Basketball" 'cause they loved eachother since they were little kids, Johnnie and Baby:love: from "Dirty Dancing" 'cause i just adore the story and Andie and Benjamin:love: from "How to lose a guy" because they were so cute and funny!

Noah and Allie in the Notebook, young and old. They were so devoted and in love.
