I like Cycle News, US racing news and schedules mainly. Cycle World is good. Dirt Bike is good. I like the English mags, but at $10 apiece here, only a few of them adds up to a new tire. Rider, nah. American Bagger. Nope. All of the chopper mags suck. Shotgun News is cool. Dirt Rider, even though I subscribe, it's pretty weak, rave about a new bike, then a few months later, hey remember that 09 RMYZKXCR and what a hunk of crap it was? That's pretty much every month.
Motorcyclist, kinda weak.
I'd have to say Cycle News is my favorite and it's every week.
BIKE, TWO, Roadracing World,,,,,,,,,,, BIKE and TWO are a little on the expensive side,,,,,,, being from across the pond... don't know if they get published or printed by anyone stateside.... all great mags......
BIKE can be found over here, but it's not widely available and very expensive. I have to go to Barnes & Nobles to find it. As for TWO, I've never seen that for sale here.
As for American mags, Sport Rider is the only one I read every month. I usually skim Roadracing World while sipping a coffee at Borders or Barnes and Noble. Mags from the UK are better than American mags IMO. I always read Superbike. And I'll at least skim Visor Down, Performance Bikes, Bike (now Visor Down) and TWO. I find all of those at the already listed bookstores. The UK mags can be tough to find because most places only get a handful (if they get them at all) and usually go quickly. I will say it is interesting how every mag at a new bike launch doesn't ever have much to say bad about it. Then when a comparison rolls around, the bads finally come out. The only exception was the Buell 1125. The UK mags hit it really hard at the launch and only subsequent tests was it held in a higher standard.
