Favorite / least Favorite B Team heros

After watching the latest episode of Ben 10: Alien Force, the episode focused on the Plumber Helpers, who are not the main heros, and are the B Team of the series.

Got me to thinking, what are some of the best and worst B Team or second string teams in the history of animation. You know the teams of heros that fill in for the main heros, the substitute teacher of super heros.

My Favorites:

Kurakura Riser Teams (Bleach) - I know they are not to be taking seriously, but too each his own. If I can't have the main heros I am used to, I might as well get some good laughs. Weather it is the one with Kon as the mascot or Kon in Ichigo's body, they are were all hillarous episodes, even though they are filler.

Also Hitsugaya's investigated team that went to the world of the living when the Arrancars first showed up, were a good entertaining team, though most of their episodes they were split up.

Milky Way Sailor Soulders (Sailor Moon) - the episodes when Sailor Uranus / Sailor Neptune, and sometimes Sailor Pluto are the center figures were just as good as when the usual Sailor Soulders are involved. There was a special episode that featured three stories and one of them was a Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune centered story, and it is one of my favorites.

Least Favorites:

Haru / Teo / the Duke (Avatar: The Last Airbender) - they never got their own episode or even plot, though I heard that The Western Air Temple, they had a B plot for them that was cut, but Haru / Teo / and the Duke were completely useless after the Day Of Black Sun. Fans of Avatar nicknamed them the Three Stooges.

Favorite B teams

Future X-Men (Wolverine and the X-Men): It was cool seeing Xavier lead a new team in the future in a diffrent setting loved how they were characters that dont get a whole lot of showcasing like Vanisher, Marrow, and Hellion. Also this had the coolest version of Bishop ever. I wished they kept firestar on the team other then that one episode.

Any ninja team that wasn't the main team (Naruto) Tell the truth I like the Sand siblings and Konoha's rookie teams better then Team Kakashi. While I love Kakashi and tolerate Naruto I cant stand the rest of the main characters. While my favorite characters are or the non main teams.

Titans East (Teen Titans): They were a fun group of characters and it was always a fun treat seeing them get there own episode in the last season. The only thing is if they had Kid Flash in there instead of Mase Menos while I liked them Teen Titans Kid Flash was awesome.

The Order of the Triad (The Venture Bros.) Dr. Orpheus was a fun add to the cast and he got better when he got his own team. They really can hold there own bplot even there own episode. They really got great chemistry and Dr. O has been even more qoutable then he ever was with them. also Dana Snyder playing the Alchemist is awesome.

Least Favorite B-Teams

The Frogs (Teenage Mutant Ninjat Turtles 80's): I hated these things as a kid. I cant completely remember why but i dont remmber being annoyed by them and not thinking they were cool as the other spinoff characters like Mondo Geko or Usagi.

Justice Force (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003) : I never minded them being an old age team that are retired and didn't even get bothered by the the new one showing up but after they got as big as the JLU and pretty much became really overly powerful they didn't really match up with the Turtles universe to me. They got to big and everytime they had a giant invasion they had to shoehorn these characters in and they took the place of better characters like Leatherhead or Usagi.

X-Factor (X-Men: TAS): Thee had a cool introduction episode but they never really did anything outside of that one apperance at time I felt like they were trying to sale the X-Factor comic book and toy line. There cool characters but they got really mishandled on this show.

Thats all I can thank of right now.

My favorite is probably the side trio of Kirikou, Kim, and Ox (and their weapons Fire, Thunder, Jacqueline, and Harvar) in Soul Eater, who didn't get much focus in the animated version (though they get quite a bit more focus in the comic, so that's pretty nice)
