Favorite Horror movie??

Not many really scary films anymore, but I think thats because I'm getting older

I pretty much agree with that. It's hard to be shocked any more after seeing almost every conceivable kind of death on celluloid.

I have favourite horror scenes rather than entire films because usually that is what it comes down to.The TV girl in The Ring was really creepy but the two scenes that stand out for me from the last couple or so years are the girl under the covers in the Sixth Sense and the elevator scene in The Eye.They were both really intense because of the enclosed spaces involved. There was absoulutely nowhere to run and I felt it really brought the viewer into the scenes in a big way.

As for films themselves,I do have The Fog,The Thing,The Fly,and the Elm Street box set amongst my DVD collection. And I actually like the second Elm Street film.Seriously! I know alot of people really hate it and it doesn't strictly go with the rest of the series, but I always enjoy watching it nonetheless.
