Favorite canadian cartoons

What are you some of your favorite canadian cartoons? I thought canadian cartoons as a nice foreign alternative. It is not Anime, but it its own stule style that sepeates itself from the U.S. animation.

It's budget is lower, they use lesser known voice over actors, and have more obscure animation.

Some of my favorites are Inspector Gadget, the Raccoons.

And some of todays premere voice over actors started doing voice overs for exclusively canadain cartoons, and eventully got opportunites to do voice overs for mainstream american cartoons, for example Tara Strong and Cree Summer.

I was thinking about Ed, Edd, N Eddy when I made this thread, but I wasn't sure if it was actully canadian made? I thought the creator of the show was influenced by canadain cartoons, but it was an american show, but if it canadain made, it is another great canuck show.

The cartoons of canada are great bridge between american cartoons and over seas cartoons.

Another show I forgot to mention, but is canadain made, and is pretty good, Kappa Mikey.

PS: Any canadain cartoons that clearly took place in canada?

Yes, but it was just done over there in cheap labor, just like Ducktales and Batman: The Animated Series, among others.

The show was originally produced in Canada and France, and production later went down to the US, I believe.

Clone High, Undergrads, the Raccoons, Inspector Gadget, Adventures of Tintin, Rocket Robin Hood, Spider-man 67 (the 1st season was done in Toronto before the studio closed and Ralph Bakshi was in charge of season 2)

Since Ed, Edd n Eddy are canadain cartoons, than I guess that show I saw on Disney Channel Friday night Phines and Ferb is Disney's knockoff of canadain animation. There is a charm about the low budget canadain, that you can't duplicate when made by a big time american company like Disney.

I wouldn't put them on my list of favorites, but for the record the Care Bears are a canadian cartoon. All their tv specials and movies (at least the classic 2D stuff in the 80's) was made in canada. Their second tv series was a canadian series, I don't know about the first series. Was the DiC version of the Care Bears show a canadian series? Though the characters themselfs were created by the Cleveland base American Greeting Card company.
