In honor of Mother's Day, who are some of your favorite mothers in either cartoons, shorts, or theatrical animation?

One of my favorite moms is Tino's Mom from The Weekenders. Known for her horrible and sometimes dangerous cooking, and for her eerily perfect advice, she seems like the perfect 5th member of the group because she talks with her child, not down to him. She's not quick to judge and she works it as a single mother. I also enjoy that you see the other side and the relationship she has with her ex. Things aren't perfect but she enjoys her life now. She also doesn't sugar coat things and she slips up just like any real life mom does.

"You want me to leave the room so you can say bad words?"

"That'd be great, thanks."

"You can't end your friendships just because you're afraid to talk about your feelings! If you do then I'll...I'll...I'll HAVE YOU ARRESTED!!!"

That's what I loved most about this show: all the characters felt like something so familiar.

Here's my top favorite best animated mothers, Happy Mother's Day!!!!!

Peg(Goof Troop) - Cool hot cat mother who puts up with her greedy/selfish jerkface husband Pete while kicking his butt which she can be scary, loud, and terrifying as well.

Dexter's Mom(Dexter's Laboratory) - Awesome hardworking/neatfreak mother which her catfight with the evil hot blonde chick at the store was epic.

Lydia Pearson(Pepper Ann) - She's one hilarious mother who loves to embarrass her daughter and takes care of the family as well.

Wendy Elizabeth and J.B.'s Mom(Eek! the Cat) - A great mother who's pretty goofy/funny of her absent-mindedness and knows how to do karate, awesome.

Paula Small(Home Movies) - She was the best mother who's pretty sarcastic/goofy and takes care of the family as well.

Wanda(Baby Blues) - The greatest hot mother to survive with the annoying brats, Zoe & Hammie makes her the #1 best!!!!!!

Commander Norah Li Nebulon(Lloyd From Space) - Awesome alien mother who's a supreme commander of a space station along with her great character development.

Karen Jane "K." Mildred Daring(Agent K.)(The Replacements) - She's one awesome mother who's a super hot kickbutt spy along with taking care of the family.

Francine Smith(American Dad!) - Awesome mother who loves her family while putting up with with those two terrible selfish jerks alot, Stan and Roger the Alien, but can kick their butts at times, hahahaha.

Karen Clark(The Amazing Spiez!) - Awesome mother who's the best kickbutt OOPSIE agent EVER:p:D!!!!!

Nicole(The Amazing World of Gumball) - Gumball's awesome hardworking cat mother who's funny/responsible/scary/competitive and can run really fast in that funny chase scene going after Gumball/Darwin, hahahahaha.

Mrs. Moroboshi/Mrs. Invader/Jari-Ten(Ten)'s mother/Ran's mother(Urusei Yatsura) - Awesome mothers along with their great characters and that Lum/Jari-Ten(Ten)/Ran's mothers are the best hot anime alien mothers ever:D:anime:!!!!!!

Delia Ketchum/Sabrina's mother/Tommy(Tamino)'s mother/Lola/Johanna(Pokemon/Chronicles) - Awesome hot mothers of Ash, Brock, Sabrina, Tommy(Tamino)'s, and Dawn's.Ash's mother was so great for taking care of Ash and is also goofy as well.

Misako Kurata/Michelle/Yuko(Kodocha) - Sana's awesome/wacky/hilarious mother which all of her funny/wacky/crazy antics bashing on poor Rei/Onda were hilarious,hahahahaha:p:D.Michelle may be evil/heartless, but when she redeemed herself, she was one awesome kickbutt mother while being a champion swimmer, wooooooow!!!!!!Yuko may be evil/horrible/disgusting for her nasty actions on poor Naozumi, but she finally redeemed herself at the end which was great.

Mai/Sharlotte(Duel Masters) - Shobu's cool mother who's so hilarious on that part with her phone call with Fritz the Goblin.

Rouge/Curly Dadan/Bellemere/Queen Otohime(One Piece) - They were the best awesome mothers ever due to their character developments, but sadly both Rouge/Bellemere/Queen Otohime will be forever missed.I put Curly Dadan there if step-parents count since she had her best moments as well.

Mrs. Shindou/Mrs. Touya(Hikaru no Go) - Great mothers, but poor Mrs. Shindou worries about her terrible jerkoff son Hikaru who's sometimes crappy on her at times, the poor lady:(.

Layla/Marla(Fairy Tail) - Awesome mothers of Lucy/Happy's.R.I.P. Layla, you'll be missed.Marla is one of the next greatest kind mothers of anime ever so far.
 
While I do find many entries on your list questionable as to why these mothers are listed as 'attractive', this one stands out the most. I don't suppose you could explain why? While you're at it, Nicole Watterson too.

One entry that hasn't been listed yet, that I wish to nominate, is Bubbie from Flapjack. While she's not technically Flapjack's mother, she is a definite mother figure, always taking full responsibility for the boy and deeply loving him, no matter what bizarre and outrageous antics he gets himself into. And with the show being highly whacked-out and creepy in style, that's saying something.

That, and for her managing to put up with K'nuckles.
 
Since she is already one of my favorite cartoon characters, I will say Drew Saturday. I love her backstory, Tibetan Fire Sword, appearance, voice, etc. She is also tough, loves her family, etc.
 
While she was only seen in flashbacks, I always thought that Princess Ursa in Avatar: The Last Airbender seemed to be a great mother. She obviously loved her children and was willing to go to any lengths to protect them. Of course, things didn't turn out quite so well for neither of her children afterwards, but I blame their father for that.

Oh, and while she wasn't his biological mother, watching Seirei no Moribito I thought that Balsa was a great mother-figure for Prince Chagum.
