It is kinda for the better that they split when they did. Look at pop music now, there are baby versions of them that don't have the balls to belt it out like them. I have a feeling that come the next American election they will play a show or something.

Alright, I think this thread is a pretty cool idea so here I go:

Black Eyes "Cough"

Where most of their DC peers (like !!!) seem to be trying to revive new wave, or, if you prefer, "dance punk," Black Eyes bring back No Wave - screeching horns layered upon screeching guitars on top of screeching half-spoken half-screamed vocals, with the occasional steady bass line to keep it from decaying completely into madness. And sometimes there are even melodies. What more could you want?

Mystery Jets - Making dens ....i just can't get it out of my head..it's driving me nuts really....i love it when i get so hooked on an album that that's all i listen to for a week...then it completely disgusts me and i don't listen to it for months....
