First Omen was great. In the case of the second and third films, I read the books first, and both of them conjured an image in my head of the story as a screenplay that was really compelling. When I actually watched Omen II and III, both were letdowns (apart from the elevator scene in Omen II). I recall Omen II had little background music and that helped detract from any atmosphere.

I have always liked Omen 2 the best, well we got to know him.
