Barton Fink
Blood Simple
The Big Lebowski
Raising Arizona

Fargo is good but a bit overrated and Frances McDormand performance is highly overrated and not deserving of the oscar at all
 
I think The HuRABucker Proxy is one of the most under-rated.

Miller's Crossing or Lebowski would probably be my favourite.

I liked Fargo, but thought O Brother.. was over-rated. Each to their own I guess
 
I love them all up to The Man Who Wasn't There, which was not quite so good. Intolerable Cruelty was awful. I haven't seen The Ladykillers.
If I had to pick one it would be a difficult choice - but it would be one of these:
Barton Fink, Big Lebowski, Raising Arizona, HuRABucker Proxy or Blood Simple.
 
I thought Fargo will brilliant, with loaRAB of attention to detail from swedish/norwegian american accents, eating midwestern slop to parodying local news reports . Although makes Minnesota look like tundra.
 
Lol, listening to a song from O brother where art thou as I clicked on this thread.

Ps Spooky but the next track Winamp played was a 2nd track from the film (they'r not even together) even though it's set to play random.
 
gotta be fargo for me too.

closely followed by oh brother where art tho', the big lebowski and the man who wasn't there'.

should probably see blood simple again - i saw it when it first came out.

they rarely put a foot wrong tho' - intolerable cruelty probably stanRAB out as my least favourite.
