About the Jean/Cyclops doesn't he have something of some sort going on with Emma Frost? MAybe I misunderstood but I thought I read somewhere that the tables had turned so to speak.

I see your point and given your website it's pretty fair to say you're biased. Am I right? I certainly won't knock your enthusiasm for the characters of Scott and Jean. They're great characters. We can assert pairings and couplings and it's all in good fun, but I must debate you on the quoted subject matter above. Now obviously everyone here feels strongly about the characters and wishes the best possible treatment at the hanRAB of Singer, Hayter and Penn. But how deep do your concerns really go.
(That's not a question.) Peel the veneer of what you've been forced to accept as acceptable and decide for yourself who is worthy to portray those that we have invested so much in.

Example:

I'm at work helping to spread the buzz swirling around the new Matrix release. In passing, I happen to mention whether or not the person I was talking to had seen the trailer for the Hulk. (This person would soon admit to having seen the original airing of the Bill Bixby/Lou Ferrigno TV version.) And their response to my inquiry was that of an "Annh" sound. Stating that the "new" hulk was "too monster looking" than the ingrained Ferrigno Hulk. A sense of befuddlement hit me after that comment. It quickly dawned on me that they had never known anything else other than Ferrigno. I calmly proceeded with how the "new" Hulk they had seen in the trailer is much more faithfully accurate than the Ferrigno Hulk could ever be. Continuing with comicbook based facts the "new" Hulk can really jump that high and really run that fast. And, that he does look that monsterous. A ponderous "Oh." was uttered, but I reassured the person that this was a "good thing". Their interest was then renewed.

My point is... let us consider for one second how dear we hold these fond fictional characters and are we willing to settle for whatever some casting director deems is suitably Ferrigno! I say never! Never accept what's forced upon you. Are you going to ingest vomit ice cream just because it's ice cream?!? Please.

It's an idea that when they (the entertainers) get it right it becomes legend. I feel it shows reverence to the source material. Don't you agree? Consider Tim Burton's Batman. Or Joe Johnston's Rocketeer or Richard Donner's Superman. Respect the source material and I have no issue. I still haven't forgiven Sam Mendes' take on Road to Perdition.

As far as I know, Rogue and Bobby were never together in the comic books.

Regarding Jean and Logan -- Jean is now married to Cyclops (though there is trouble in paradise).

Rogue and Magneto: It actually DID happen in the comics briefly, BUT keep in mind -- comic!Rogue and comic!Magneto are closer in age then their movie counterparts.

I still love Emma/Sean. They are so different from each other, and so cute when they bickered. I so dig Irish guys (too bad Farrell had to be in that whole Brit mess). I hated Iceman b/c of his connection to Emma, until I read fics w/him and the Beast and also w/Warren. The possibility of Bobby Drake being homosexual all of a sudden seemed right. No girl is good for Mr. Drake ^_^ There was an issue a few months back where Northstar expressed his interest in him and I was -VERY- excited.

I love M/M!

I'm new to the X-men fandom, so I basically only know from the movies and what my frienRAB have told me. Can anyone tell me what happens between Bobby and Rogue and Jean and Logan in the comics, I'm really curious. Anyways on to my list...

Rogue + Logan-Maybe this makes me crazy, but I just adore them. I like them in any form they come. I think the chemistry between Jackman and Paquin in very unique and intrigueing, I only hope I'll see more of them in X-3. Anyways, I just really think their bond should be explored further, because she really seems to be his soft spot. He's this really tough guy and you can tell he really cares for her, she matters to him.

Rogue + Bobby-They are what brought me to the X-Men fandom. I saw them in the preveiws for X-2 and I knew they would be hott! I love Rogue, I really do and I love her with Bobby. He just really seems to care for her, even excepting their limnitations. My favorite scene from X-2 between them was when she flew out of the plane and he was just freaking out. Plus, they are just so darn cute.

Rogue + Pyro-I totally fell for them them in X-2. Pyro is such a bad ass, but you can tell he has a heart. I think a lot of my love for them came from my love of Pyro and where this story could go. He's on the bad side now, which makes a relationship between them all the more complicated and angsty and I love angst. My favorite scene that showcased them was when Bobby was looking for Rogue and told Pyro and with out being asked or prodded, he just immediatly went to look for her too. I mean people were trying to get him and instead of escaping he went to make sure she was okay. It's the little things that counts.

Logan + Jean-They just sizzle and I really love the nervous jittery side of Logan she brings out. They are just electric and I hope they develop farther. I wouldn't mind some of those hott kisses either.

Pyro/Rogue/Bobby-I really like this triangle, because for once I really wouldn't know who I'd want her to choose. They all have great chemistry and a very interesting frienRABhip. Plus I really enjoy the Pyro/Iceman dynamic with Rogue in the middle.

Rogue + Magneto-Not in the romantic since, don't worry I haven't lost it. I just really like their advesarial feel. I laughed out loud when she started to threaten him and take her gloves off. They are an odd obsession of mine.

Thats all I can think of right now, but I love the possibilities of the X-Men fandom.
