What is your fav stephen king adaption, for me the closest and best would probably have to be Misery.

I know theres a lot of terrible one as well but whats your fav?

I agree Misery is AWESOME I still cant look directly at the screen when she puts the sledgehammer to his ankles.

Other goodies are IT with Tim Curry putting on a brilliant performance as Pennywise the dancing clown

I loved IT when I was younger. I had nightmares about Pennywise for months. But a couple of months ago I picked up the novel and watched the movie again and I was very disappointed in the film/miniseries. I can't wait for the remake to come out in 2011/2012, I just pray to God it isn't as terrible as the Nightmare on elm street remake. So yeah it would be my favourite adaption, although it's not the best one.

For me it has to be...

The Mist...fantastic....but sad ending ! :(
Stand By Me, made me cry but what a film ! again really sad but funny and poignant....
Carrie, a pretty good horror for it's time and has aged well.
Misery, i loved the book, and i thought the film was a really great adaption of the book, Kathy Bates and James Caan excelled themselves in this....

Shawshank, well this has to be the best for me i'm afraid, totally gripping and a beautiful ending.
Not too keen on any of his others and i am a big Stephen King fan (bookwise)........
