Hey today I had a really embaressing situation happen to me today. I got into my car as normal however noticed that unlocking my car with the key felt different than usual, but just carried on with it and drove of to the docs as i was in a hurry. When I came out of the doctors I turned my key around in the hole and it went all the way around without unlocking it! A gentleman realised that I was struggling and came over and looked at the key and he said that the key had worn and was loose in the fob! I then tried the boot which didnt need as much pressure to open and I had to climb through and open from the inside.
My car is a T reg (1999) and the key is thin and a cylinder shape with a huge fob lol.
Anyone tell me how much it could be to get a replacement? And where could I go?
