I have been getting this message on my T2 every time I insert a Palm Pak eBook card. There are 5 books on this card and I have read 2 of them already--using the free Palm Reader OS. No problems yet. Then, I bought another ebook from Fictionwise. When I tried to open the file I got a screen that said I was using an old version of Palm Reader and that I have to upgrade in order to access the book file.---Which I did--the new free version is called eReader. Now I can read my new eBook.
BUT, when I put my Palm Pak card back in the T2, I immediately get the above message and it requires a soft reset. I must take the card out in order to avoid the freeze up. I assume it has something to do with the upgraded Reader. Anyone else had this problem?
What to do?

ps. I downloaded Filez but I don't really know what I am looking for or doing with it.

I would probely try using Wordsmith or some other program to read your books ??
Also you could reinstall Ebookreader or even use your old e-book reader and your new ebook reader one of your SD card and one on your palm. Use cardexport if you don't have a card reader/writer.. All of this is found at Palmgear

Hope this helps !!

Thankyou, tungsenlover.
I was able to eliminate the Alert by moving the eReader and eBook to an expansion card and deleting them from the handheld. Now my PalmPak card works fine with the Palm reader that must be on the card!!!

The new eReader must have created a conflict with the PalmPak card.

Thanks for the help.
