Fasting sugar ideal number?

My fasting sugar in the morning was 200; through diet and exercise, it came down to 113. I feel great now... but the nurse told me not to go below 110. I thought 80-110 was normal? Does anyone know why she would say that? I want to be in normal ranges.

In the US, fasting blood glucose of 65 to 99 mg/dl is considered normal non-diabetic (although numbers at the high end of the range or a rising trend over time can be an early warning sign). 100 to 125 mg/dl is considered prediabetic, while 126 mg/dl or higher on two separate occasions is considered diabetic.

Thanks, I thought that was the case but was wondering: if below 99 is considered normal my doctor doesn't want me to go below 110.
