You're not the only one. I enjoyed it too!

I like Bow Wow...............yes I just said that. And I like Lucas Black.

I'm definitely going to see this over the weekend.

babyJ, thanks for posting that spoiler. that's actually pretty cool. i guess word will be out soon enough b/c i think the movie comes out today...

Rented it for Vin's scene (what was that, 3 minutes??? ) and I liked this!!!My brother got mad at me for renting it since he had bought it. Ouch, but I didn't know.

[sp]Anyway, whose *&#^#^ idea was to kill Han????????????[/sp] I mean, seriously! I was so upset, I loved him. :bawl: It was true love! Nah, but really. He was the coolest kid in the movie.

Ok, Lucas Black does not look like a high school kid.... But he was pretty good.

Now to the good stuff... Dom!! I was biting my knuckles with anticipation he would show up any second. Ahh, Dom... :sigh:

Apparently I'm one of the few people who actually enjoyed 2 Fast 2 Furious.

I wasn't planning on seeing it, even with the constant nagging from my guy friends. The movie just looked bad, and I can't take anything seriously that features Bow Wow as one of the stars. But I got the The Fast & the Furious franchise DVD collection on Saturday, and it came with a free movie ticket to see Tokyo Drift, so I might now.

Well, I'd say it's somewhat like the first one in the sense that the plot revolves around the drifting/racing, whereas '2 Fast' had the racing subordinated to serve the plot.

If that makes sense...

Read about this flick, can't believe it's got the kid from american gothic in it - boy has that boy grown *thud*

i'll look around and see what i can come up with...

i did find this my space page: http://myspace.com/tokyodrift pretty cool, huh?

I'm actually anticipating this to do really well at the box office when it hits. If I had my way Vin would still be in it as well as Paul, but even w/o either of them in this third one it looks to be pretty good.

I haven't read any reviews yet.

You might be right. Maybe people this weekend will want to see some illegal street racing. Has anyone noticed that it looks like Vin Diesel is in the trailer of this movie? Is that just a ploy by the movie company to get you to see it or does Vin Diesel have some type of cameo in the Fast and the Furious 3? Does he have a cameo in the movie or is this an example of showing something in a movie trailer that's not actually in the movie.

Jenny - I don't know if I'd say it was like the first one, but it's definitely a different spin from the 2nd one. I really loved it. The drifting style was cool and I liked it being set in Japan.

I haven't seen any reviews but I've heard some people say they thought it was good (considering) and better than the crappy sequel. Maybe it's not so horrible after all.

My co-worker at work told me to see this film but Im undecided since I hated the second one but she said this one was much better almost like the first film. Is that true?

hehe yeah! i'm surprised also actually how well it did relative to the others..but knowing the targeted demographics of this movie is mostly teenage guys i can see why. like most of my college-aged guy friends who are into cars said this right after seeing this trailer for the fist time "i know this movie's gonna suck but i'm still gonna see it for the cars and racing"

I think this movie will not do that good at the box office this weekend because it's gonna have a lot of competition. The Fast and the Furious 3 is going up against The Lake House, Garfield 2, Nacho Libre, The Breakup, The Omen, XMEN 3, Cars, and The DaVinci Code. Tokyo Drift has no star power. It will be hard for the movie to make a lot of money.

fyi, i just read a really good review on AICN (and anyone who knows that site, knows what cynics they can be...) anyone else been seeing reviews?
